I proudly announce that I have been banned from FISDF forum. No previous communication, no warning of course! To be honest, I was kind of happy with this reaction of FISDF forum administrators, but I am afraid that soon no free opinions will be heard and FISDF will become a total dictatorship.

Any news yet on who the admins are?

I thought not. So how could I ask about a ban from an admin, if I don't know them and can't access the forum?

The SN forum is a tragicomedy. I don't know why some intelligent people still use it.

OMG! Congratulations for being first non-finn who gets banned in SN forum!

Tbh, it's good that these people created new forum and didn't use FISTF forum as now they are only killing SN forum and the official FISTF forum might have change when community can get rid of these people. But only if they won't destroy and kill FISTF before they leave their seats..

I'm banned from SN-forum without doing absolutely anything. I just happened to have the same job IP-address as Kaitsu. I cannot even read the SN-forum anymore.

Okay, but it doesn't clarify the situation at all (who bans ? for what reasons ? with explanations/statements ?)

I just got banned by Stefano De Francesco even though he has stated repeatedly that he is not acting as a administrator. "Sorry zinga, you are banned from using this forum!
crossposting and critics to the admin of the forum
This ban is not set to expire."

He got pissed of as I linked to this forum and warned me for crossposting. I did not know that crossposting was against the rules. study

I am proud to be one of "the first day" banned! Very Happy

But a long time before I banned sdf from the old subbuteo forum to prevent damage to our community, some time later I even deleted his user with a spectacular operation that italian forumists still remember. He shouted to "computer crime", he threatened lawsuits ...
We're still rolling on the floor laughing.

When I got the warning for crossposting, I immediately asked with PM from SdF, what does crossposting mean. His answer that I just noticed in my inbox was: "If you want make a discussion here no problem if you want discuss in another forum ok but it is impossible to came here to invite the users to go in another forum for discuss the same issue."

After I received the warning, I immediately edited my post so that there was no crossposting. That was clearly not enough as SdF had his excuse to ban me.

SdF-English-SdF dictionary says, that 'crossposting' is advertising forum where people are able to express their true thoughts freely and criticize actions of SdF himself (and his friends). SdF is not capable to "win" any discussion which is against his views, so he wants to keep the conversation in place where he can delete the unwanted messages and/or persons.

Tbh, i think people shouldn't give too much attention to SN/SdF -forum as it can't be considered as a official FISTF -forum by the administration works. It's not on the level of any international federation's official forum.

It turns out that SdF has banned quite many Finnish users from StefanoNews.com. He has banned every IP that I have used while visiting StefanoNews.com forums. Than includes many home computers of the players of our club, one University etc. He clearly is not capable of doing administrator duties.

It would help if we had some sane people in FISTF communications who could act before all is gone... Sleep

Sounds odd, because i thought i was more mean and im still able to access the SN forum even from my home pc Shocked

Also seems that he doesn't really if non of the finns can access the forum.

The truth anyway is that these IP bans aren't even that effective as it's easy to get around those and it's totally legal. Here is link for anonymous proxies to hide your real/banned IP. Or you can download free software to do the same. Have fun!

If i just want to read SdFNews, it's worthy of the ip-ban (maybe zingas, but effect is same to me).
If i want to sell viagra, porn etc., it's OK to SdF admins???
