Compared to match day 7 I did a lot better. A win, a draw, & a loss moves my team, Simi City, up 2 places in the table.

I get a lot of emails from companies in India wanting to SEO the So Cal web site.

SEO = Search Engine Optimization

It is the process of optimizing your site that it will appear high in the SERP (=Search Engine Result Pages).

It is a big business & there are lot of shady people/companies offering the service to optimize your site so it will appear as "No.1 in Google". They achieve this by using "Black Hat SEO" (bad tactics, called Black Hat as the bad guys in the old cowboy movies all wore black hats). This results in an initial rise in the rankings & then a big fall as the search engines discount all the work these so called experts performed. It can lead to complete removal of your site from all search engines.

A lot of these companies are based in India.

Finland was 14th in the percentage of visitors to the So Cal site, with 0.68% of the total traffic.

The Finns shared 14th place with Portugal.
