Dear All,
Champions League and Europa League 2011
Following the requests for the organisation on behalf of FISTF for the coming Champions League and
Europa League, to be held on October 29th & 30th, 2011 we are pleased to announce that the following
nations will be hosting these competitions.
The Greek Federation/Association will be hosting the Champions League 2011 while the MTFSA from
Malta will be hosting the Europa League 2011.
Criteria for qualifications for both these competitions will be announced in the coming days, following a
continuation of the project started this year with both competitions.

I wouldn't book flights for those, nor for the "major" in Greece.

Catania thought there was a boycott, in this year's EL. Well, there wasn't, but if these would go ahead, I think he would see what a boycott looks like.

Catania probably doesn't know how to read, because the work for the qualification, ranking points etc, everything regarding these competitions, is already done and sent to him.

What if almost all member nations (except Greece and Malta) will boycot the format and both tournaments ?

What if almost all member nations (except Greece and Malta) don't pay the yearly fee ?

What if Italy will cancel the coming WC ?

What if a lawyer will show up within the next two weeks to force an EGM by an injunction ?

I think that two (dangerous but mentally handicaped) men should no longer be able to have power in their hands. We all have to stand up and shout : "STOP".

I want to remember to all of you that the greek players are not responsible for all these decisions.
We want great tournaments to take place in our country but no by these ways.

In few weeks the greek courts will announce that the greek BoD is illegal elected and I as one of the members of PATFAP i promise to all of you that i will ask the assistance of all represantives of greek clubs to find a fair solution for the future of FISTF.

I want to change your opinion for the greek clubs and players. I insist. The 90% of greek players are against of these acts.

Sorry Vincent but during 2001-2009 you did the same. You gave the 33% of great tournaments in Belgium cities.
Of course last Europa cup in Greece took place 2007 and in Belgium 2009. So the decision is wrong, no because selected Greek city than a Belgium city but because there are and other countries which want to organise a European cup.

p.s 8 countries asked congress for elections but i didn't see candidates yet. I hope this time to stop the discussions under the table.

It's not the reality. Both events held in Tournai were held there because there was no candidate to host the WC 2005 and the EC 2009. Because there was nobody else, I accepted to organize the 2 tournaments...
