FISTF website removed ?
I'm very sad to see that the FISTF website is not online anymore.
This was a website I built from scratch and now it was removed the same way as the former discussion forum, loosing all information gathered during a lot of time. Another "crime" against FISTF has been done. I'm really sorry.
What's next ?

Re: FISTF website removed ?
I don't know about these things (as a luddite...), but is the information really lost. So is the closing final from the domain's part.
And more importantly, shouldn't the information be saved by FISTF also outside the web. Everyone who I know who has important information in a website has also copies of the website. This goes also for some forums.
The FISTF forum was deleted by the Board, not by the domain. So this is different.

Is it really different ? I wonder!

Well, not really, you are right. Only a slight difference. The forum was closed with the domain still with FISTF, but now it is closed because the domain expired. The first was bad behaviour, this was maybe just negligence...

Re: FISTF website removed ?
well one could try to save what is left of it using google cache
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?hl=de&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=Uhs&rls=org.mozilla%3Ade%3Aofficial&q=cache%3Afistf.info&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=
searching in google with "cache:www.fistf.info" (without the "") to get there
and for direkt links copy the link an search "cache:http://www.fistf.info/?q=node/181" again for circular n.50
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?hl=de&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=Uhs&rls=org.mozilla%3Ade%3Aofficial&q=cache%3Afistf.info&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=

Re: FISTF website removed ?
At the moment, Luís´blog is the only indiependant information-site for Sport table football Subbuteo-like
http://fistfnews.blogspot.com/
I would suggest, this can be now the platform for FISTF information. Presentation of tournamant reports, photos, results etc.
All news and details for EGM, candidates and their presentation can be publish here.
Your job, Luís. Issy is the first challenge.

Thossa,
You are right. This blog is still independent. Vincent, Simon and myself have rights to post on it.
Send to my email address all information you need to be published.

Re: FISTF website removed ?
The real story about this blog is that I was the person who made it. I put some people as "contributors" (Simon, Luis, Silvio) and on the monday after the meeting in Frankfurt, I was "fired" and couldn't even continue to contribute. What a joke. Now I'm a "possible contributor" again while Silvio is definately out (he never put any article there).

Vincent,
The truth is that the blog was created by me.
Last year, when I saw what happened with the FISTF Forum, I removed the admin rights only to everybody and keep the blog out of the fights. Also I changed the name to "Unofficial".
The fact is, in spite of the blog was not fully used since then, he is still running and available to help FISTF community.
You are still a contributor and you has never been "fired".Silvio never has a contributor.
I've already asked you what is your problem with the acess to the blog.
If you really want to restart post in the blog I'm available to help you to do it. Contact me to my email please, to find out the next steps.

Vincent, I don't know what happened. What I'm sure is that I never blocked your access.
Have you tried again in the last weeks ?

Re: FISTF website removed ?
Yes, since you "invited me tot ake part again", I can post again. I haven't posted because I had no pisition in FISTF and I felt very sad a "offical" page had become "unofficial".

Do you want to change it from "Unofficial" to "Independent" ?
Remember that if I didn't act in time now we haven't this blog also.

Re: FISTF website removed ?
I don't care. When it was "official", it was working well. Now it has lost interest because when the Board was elected in January 2010, it was their job to continue all this, not to destroy all the work done before... The priority os to have official channels working well. The other channels (Subbuteo News,...) have always less credit than the official medias.

Spazio disponibile : Illimitato
Servizi aggiuntivi abbinati al dominio:
Email Illimitate , MySQl

Hi Stefano, thanks for your intervention.
As for Communication the disaster have one name, okay - but in my opinion the whole disaster have certainly more than one name
Hope to see you soon again somewhere
