where to now?

who are we supposed to lodge Tournament requests with now that the FISTF board has gone AWOL.

the ATSA have been waiting since the 12th July, as to whether or not we can host an International Open on 20th November.
Nothing has been confirmed by FISTF and people are wanting to book flights from Greece and parts of Asia.

Can anyone help or have we got to wait until after the WC?

Surprinsingly they are faster to suspend people so Rob please mind the words you're using when you complain about the Board

i just want an answer so we can book the venue and people can book flights, i don't care who sanctions it, the flight costs are going up by the day

Happy to jump on this bandwagen. Have applied to hold an International Open in Wales the week prior to yours. No reply causing difficulty with venue.

Because i cann't find in fistf's calendar the full program for 2010-2011 i will give you the greek international tournaments. I found in greek handbook before few days by the greek president- communication vice president of fistf. He selected to inform only the greek players...

Maybe you don't understand the plans which are organising behind you, me and rest table soccer community.
Do you feel fool because you help the new BoD and they don't care for you?
If you want i can send you the greek-official- calendar.

Thx for your offer, but I don't need the greek calender, because this is not important to me.
Actually there is no major in greece in the next season, the deadline for majors is over since 15th of april, so i think it is a bit late to send a request in july. Maybe Greece got a Major for the season 2011/2012 (i'm curious about it, which other major will be cancelled, because there are only 4 allowed and the handbook isn't changed).
One more time you see black and white, i don't support the board, i support FISTF, please keep that difference always in mind. my only intention is and was to help preparing the new season, because the current board hadn't the experience to do that and I didn't want that players and clubs pay the price for a meeting between representatives of associations and FISTF.

If you want really to support fistf you must stop help this no democracy BoD.
Because fistf is the congress no the BoD. BoD members can change in any time if the congress take this decision.

My work ends after the World Cup.
Then the new season started, the World Cup is over, and the communication for the EC is already out, the only thing left is that I will provide a list of transfers I received so far to the WR officer for updating the database.
Then I'm out and will have a look on the happenings from outside only. I only wanted to prepare the new season and the WC the way it was done the last years, or do you really want to project all the personal problems between some people to the players and clubs?
I don't think that's the right way that players and clubs have to feel the conflict on administrative level directly.
Anyway whatever will be the result of Rain, those people will have time till April 2011 now to change things and then start to prepare the season 2011/2012.

You are not sport director yet.
If mr Stefano De Francesco selected you for his assistant that is your and his problem.

I have the same opinion with you only in the first half of your phrase. Heinz is a good guy.
But i have other opinion for how usefull is him as sport director.
I propose him last week in this forum for secretary

Of course catania and his company are dangerous for fistf's future.
But we 'pay" for this, because Vincent and Heinz did many mistakes in past.
Vincent is fantastic in communication but no for president.

i think you can not speak about catania and his group. Because i know information that the relation between catania and his former board colluegees was not good. i think only garnier was on his side!

I can speak because Koutroumanos is the fanatical supporter of Catania.
Catania follow the same combinations of koutroumanos in greece. No elections, dialogue with closed ears, and he decides for ALL. Tournaments transfers disciplinary etc.

i have to say that koutroumanis i only know because i met him 5 times and to me he is a great guy, i have never seen him doing anything good nor bad.... so i cant judge.

catania from personal issues i know he think he can just do whatever he wants! without listening to people or looking to facts...

In fistf calendar next weekend no international tournament in Athens.
But greek president said to few players that we will play.
Fistf handbook ask announcement 3 months before.
We are 5 days before and we haven't news.
Last months 2 international tournaments postponed in greece without any information to players.
My teamamtes wants to organise next weekend with their family but they still waiting for a responsible answer.

Today morning many (no all) greek players took a sms!!! for an international open THIS weekend in Athens. 72 hours before kick off!!!

This tournament is not in FISTF's CALENDAR until now!!!

The competition manager -vice president of Fistf - decide don't respect the rules and the handbbook.
So the entry fees for open category is 15 (fifteen) euros !!!!! The handbook for I.O MAXIMUM 8e. About 100% more expensive.

The handbook asks 3 months earlier the invitation for players no 72 hours with sms without information in fistf's site and calendar.

THIS BoD WILL DESTROY TABLE SOCCER IN FEW MONTHS.

At the same time the guys friom Australia still wait a confirmation of their tournament for more than 2 months...
