We received at last results...
Only Greek players...

Is it normal to have a MAJOR with only one country ?
For me no !

We should present this in front of FISTF because this is absurd... Mad

There was one Belgian Smile (on holiday in his greek family)

The draw is a total joke, many players players from the same club in the same group.

In total 61 players, a joke for a Major. No website, late results, no pictures,... Shame!

FISTF should better concentrate on real priorities!

I noticed that the next Major in Athens is already at the beginning of October. And in October in Athens there is also the Europa Cup. Astonishing calendar planning.

The 5th Major was from the beginning something where FISTF did not respect its own rules (about Majors), so to see how it was and anyway have 2 of those in the space of about 3 months makes an outsider like me wonder how anyone outside the inner circles could take FISTF seriously.

Vesa, at the end, almost nobody cares, I think.

I hope you had a good tournament in Finland on saturday and at the end, as long as we have fun, it's perfect!

I know, Vincent. I don't really care either. I just think the whole FISTF is a bit of a scam, a hoax. It receives money, but doesn't follow the rules according to which the money is given to it. If the sums were bigger, it could be a case for a court. I'm not interested in that, but I'm just saying how it looks. And then some people are talking about media coverage! Any real journalist would rip FISTF apart if he made a real story about it. Sad, and still nobody (with real interest in the game) cares.

I'm just a person who doesn't understand this kind of behaviour at any level of life. Let alone on a level that makes sandcastle builders look like professionals from outer space (which they duly are, in fact).

We had a great tournament, thanks. We always have positive atmosphere and fair play. And even though it was the lowest ever number of foreigners in the finnish GP there where double the amount of foreigners than in the Athens Major Twisted Evil It was a bit sad, though, as the 2 guys from Lappeenranta (Marko Karhunen and Jarkko Lindholm) would have deserved some foreign visitors for their effort.

The results of the Major of October 2012 are finally available (after 4 weeks)
- 42 Open players (including Vasco from Portugal and Mark Gauci from Malta)
- 9 veterans
- 11 teams
Do you really think it's worth being called a Major?
