Do you think WASPA, in a philosophy of "amateur game", should have a dress code?

I think that players should be able to wear the outfit which they feel the best. Most of the players are already wearing t-shrt(s) or football shirt(s) and shorts or similar. So #2 is my answer...

Some basic things. Indoor shoes, but not necessarily specific sports, so could be sandals etc. I would also allow playing in socks or with bear feet (remember Abebe Bikila and Zola Budd among others). About other stuff like trousers, shirts etc I really don't care what people wear. In a team competition a team shirt could be necessary. But even that with small allowed variations (if the shirt is not made anymore and a new player comes to the team, it's ridiculous to demand everyone to buy a new shirt, better to have something very close).

I also prefer people to wear some kind of pants, not just t-shirt and shoes...

(just a little bit of humor Wink )

A nudist tournament would be an idea, of course. It would probably get media interest. But there the dress code would be very strict...

affraid

For me it is a no (excl shoes)
I don't mind if my opponent wears sports clothes and it would be nice my opponent doesn't mind me wearing whatever I like.
