Philosophy Empty Philosophy

Post  Admin Tue Apr 19, 2011 11:09 am

The philosophy of the WASPA is to make unity between all amateur subbuteo players in the world, to organize tournaments and meetings between players at regional, national and international level.
There will be a world ranking organized.
Players of every country should have the same importance. There should not be difference between players in or outside Europe. Players from small nations should have the same rights and duties as those from bigger countries.

Rules of the game
For the moment, the WASPA events will be played with the same rules of the game as in FISTF tournaments. There will be a handbook released in the near future with all tournaments regulations.

I posted something on the WASPA blog because I was really upset of the comments made against Luis Horta on the Subbuteo news forum.

Maybe we don't agree on the way FISTF is run nowadays but in no case I will admit to read that WASPA is the enemy of FISTF.

We all want the best for our beloved game.

It seems as if FISTF is going to ignore the idea of WASPA. I asked for an official statement of FISTF regarding WASPA. This message was just deleted .... Unbelievable.

As I know that Antonello and Stefano have admin rights of the SN forum it is hard for me to trust them any longer.

And FISTF BoD has now two italian directors and one italian president. I am sure Piero is still owner of an italian passport even when he lives now in Spain. And a lot of other italians are involve in different commissions. Kostas Kechris saw it coming FISTF - the I stands of Italy. affraid Well done, Italy!

Capponi's decisions are the best help for WASPA.
If he continue selecting for partners Italians or people like Koutroul and he support illegal elections then FISTF will die in few months.

The day this would be announced as part of new FISTF rules, the FISTF has finally come to end of it's road.

I also would like the idea to international association have council/BoD where every nation has it's own representive instead of FISTF type handful of people. As we have seen, you only need a pack of friends and a someone who can find the loopholes from the rules and make the scam official to take over FISTF. I'm not saying that the bigger group of people would necessaryly be more succesfull, but it would more equal setup for all countries being part of WASPA.
