Yesterday night the site of Koutroumanos inform us that in five days will take place one more I.O in Greece.
I read before few days that Greek tournaments postponed. In last calendar we didn't find this I.O.
I also read Koutroumanos letter that he accepted that the court decided that he is illegal elected.

So i cann't understand who taking decisions and why some persons refused to follow them.

The only competition around this time in Greece was last weekends Satellite. It was in the last official Calendar that I have seen in the FISTF pages.

If Catania and the other BoD approves this, is important to know. And who approved this, as there has not been a Sports Director since Olivier Pere resigned (in his time this was not approved)?

I asked this from Italy, and De Francesco answered that the view of FISCT is that the tournament can not be counted as official FISTF tournament.

He wrote that this is a subject to be discussed and cleared in Madrid.

I wrote last August that "no elections" in Rain. You had closed your ears.
Now i am sure that no fair elections in Madrid. Because i know better than all of you the two greek represantives who will travel for EGM.

The "famous" greek "proffesional" ex-president answered in a question of a greek player that your post is a big lie.
The "famous" greek "proffesional" ex-president spoke with the "italian proffesional" DeFra and he refused that he said the tournament is unofficial.
I think that we have many "proffesional" layers...

The answer of De Francesco below. In original language to avoid misunderstandings. the bolded part (first sentence, bolded by me) says: "I know the handbook perfectly, and tell you right away, that the tournament can not be valid.

I really don't see anything in tmy shortened version, that contradicts the original.

Infatti per essere valido il torneo deve essere richiesto entro un tempo stabilito dall'handbook. Le regole dell'handbook sono chiare.

Per le candidature di tornei che arrivano dopo il 15 maggio vale questa regola:

After May 15th, the candidatures will not be accepted if they don’t respect a delay (of four months for a Grand
Prix, two months for an Open, one month for a Satellite, a Challenger or a Future) for the tournaments they
request. The FISTF Sports Director may move late applications according to the available dates.

The last offical publication by FISTF in case of greek FISTF tournaments, done by FISTF BoD-member Alan Collins, says clearly, all of them are cancelled.

When I see things like that, I believe travelling to Madrid will just be a waste of time and money.
These idiots don't care about the rules. They make their own rules and they don't care if they cheat all the time.

What makes me so much disappointed is the ignorance and carelessness of international cherished players who take part of those fake tournaments. Normaly a boycott for those dubious and doubtful tournements should be the right answer, than to play them and thought nothing had happened.

As Stefano De Francesco already clearly stated: this tournament is according to the handbook invalid. Basta!

Silvio Catania´s statement on facebook proves only his incompetence or, if you like, his way to lead FISTF in dictatorship. He certainly totaly ignore the advises, done by Alex and Giufaz, he is not valid as President according to french law. He defently have no legal power. Actually he shouldn´t have to resign, he is already out of power. This should have be the view for all responsible persons of member nations and therefore it is no need to communicated with him as he would be still a legal president.

He can give his opinion on facebook for whatever he like, but he can not decide anything anymore in case of FISTF.

The request for an EGM is a bit older than we have learned about french law thanks to Alex Popoff´s recherche. It wasn´t Catanias wish to make the EGM in Madrid, don´t forget he wanted to make it on Malta. At least we have a place to start a new chapter for FISTF.

I saw (if correctly interpreted) that Odense was not accepted (even as an IO), but this was.

Unbelievable! And against what SdF wrote in italian forum, if I remember correctly. What a surprise.

I think there was also another tournament like this in Autumn in Greece.

At least I remember some players participation being rejected without proper reason. This also distorts the ranking, and a competition manager who does not allow (against the rules) people to play should receive some ban from organising.

Just interested to know how the FISTF deal with these issues.

Is this tournament included in the ranking?

I think there was another tournament outside calendar also in Greece during this season. Was that included in the ranking?

I saw that Odense was not included, so I'm just curious about the equality.

I seem to be getting the alzheimer's. Maybe I should ask a third time...

I sent mail to Freddy. But I doubt he knows anything more than that he counts the results given to him.

It just seems another thing De Francesco "forgot". But it's not too late to delete those results.

And if they are not deleted, then the danish points have to counted also. Because if there are no rules, there can't be rules for anyone.
